Women's Rights
Women virtually participated in every aspect of the French Revolution, but their opinions seemed to prove controversial. Those who wanted to promote women in the country were fighting for rights of education rather than the common right to vote, so that they may become educated figures in the country. The women were constantly categorized by their gender rather than their occupation. This angered the women so they organized the march on the Palace of Versailles. They stood and fought for the rights of women which has never been done before. Multiple women joined to fight for rights but also because they saw a need to change poverty and food shortages in the country.
